As a person-centred counsellor,  I truly believe that counselling can be a transformative experience for individuals who want to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotions. My approach is open, honest, and non-judgmental, which creates a safe and comfortable space for clients to open up to me. I am committed to listening and giving you the time and space you deserve to explore. I'm here to help guide you and together we can see what is happening and start helping you feel better. ​​  ​​

How I Got Started

From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. After exploring various careers, I finally found my calling when I became a certified Mental Health Counsellor with the BACP and I haven’t looked back since. I provide a person centred approach, which means it’s all about you. I work with clients closely in order to achieve results that allow them to push forward with a new, positive mindset. I know the first steps are the hardest and I’m glad you're here, your one step closer to feeling to better.

About Me

How many years of studying did it take for to become a counsellor? 

I completed my diploma in counselling after four years of hard work and dedication. I trained with the BACP, and now have the knowledge and skills to make a difference in people's lives. 

  What is your style?

My counselling style is laid back, non-judgmental, and friendly. I believe in creating a safe and comfortable space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. While I maintain professional approach, I am not afraid to challenge my clients when necessary. I find that this balance of warmth and professionalism can be very effective in helping clients achieve their goals.

 Do you understand mental health?

My personal experience with mental health has given a unique perspective and empathy for those going through similar struggles. This is why I chose to become a counsellor - to provide understanding and support to those who need it. I know with the right help and support there is a way out.

 ​What do you love about your job?

My favourite part of counselling is witnessing the progress and growth of my clients, and being there to support them along the way. I have met so many lovely clients and enjoyed listening and helping them achieve better mental health.
